Home Away From Home Emergency Evacuation & Relocation Policy

In the event that it becomes necessary to evacuate my home, I will take the children to the following location:

Emergency substitute’s (August Moulton) house: 3559 New Land Loop, Lehi Utah

I will do the following to ensure that emergency supplies, including at least food, water, a first aid kit, and diapers (if the provider cares for diapered children) are taken with me to the emergency relocation site:

All emergency supplies (including first aid kit), 72 hour kit (which includes snacks and water) and diapers are all located in the same location to ensure a quick and easy location. They are all in separate containers to be easily placed inside a backpack and taken to the relocation site. The attendance record is listed on the front door which will also be removed and taken in the event of a relocation of the children.

I will do the following to ensure adequate supervision of all children during an emergency, including while at our emergency relocation site:

The attendance record will be checked before leaving to be sure all children are out of the home. A head count will be taken before departure of my home. Upon arrival of the emergency relocation site another head count will be taken to ensure all children reached the relocation site together. While at the relocation site I will continue to take a head count of all the children as well as always keeping them in my line of sight.
