Valentine's Day Party!
We had a SUPER fun Valentine's Day party today!!
We played with balloons, ate yummy candy and treats, made rice krispies treats together and handed out Valentine's! The kids were so good and helpful and really loved looking at their Valentine's. We missed all the kiddos that weren't able to come but don't worry, we have Valentine's waiting for you! :)
Thank you to all the parents that helped out, you are all so wonderful and talented!

Home Away From Home Supervision and Protection of Children Written Policy
I do the following to ensure the direct supervision and protection of children at all times:
I will be physically present on-site and provide care and direct supervision of each child at all times, both indoors and outdoors. This includes awareness of and responsibility for each child in care, including being near enough to intervene if needed. I will also keep a safe environment for the children by keeping any harmful chemicals (cleaners, etc) or objects (knifes, etc) out of reach at all times.
In addition, I do the following to ensure the direct supervision and protection of children:
When they are sleeping: Infants will be placed on their backs in a crib free from any objects that may be a suffocation or strangulation hazard. Infants will also be checked on every 15 minutes. Children older than 12 months will be placed in a play pen free from any objects that may be a suffocation or strangulation hazard. All children will be within hearing of me.
When they are outdoors: I will actively supervise each child during outdoor play to minimize the risk of injury to a child. This includes awareness of and responsibility for each child in care, including being near enough to intervene if needed. A head count of all children before after and during any outdoor play will be taken as well.
During off-site activities: I will actively supervise each child during any off-site activities to minimize the risk of injury to a child. This includes awareness of and responsibility for each child in care, including being near enough to intervene if needed. A head count of all children before after and during the off-site activity will be taken as well.
I do the following to keep track of each child’s whereabouts:
I will be physically present on-site and provide care and direct supervision of each child at all times, both indoors and outdoors. A head count of all children is taken multiple times throughout the day as well.
